Inna Shekhtman’s life changed in 2003 when she rescued an Irish Wolfhound/Great Dane mix from a local shelter. Naming the dog Adhara, Inna knew that large breed dogs had the potential for a range of medical issues due to their size. She carefully researched how to best take care of her new family member and that led to discovering the value of feeding dogs and cats a raw food diet. Inna brings a passion for raw food to her work and that, combined with her analytical mind and problem-solving approach to the business have helped her to create an efficient manufacturing process that consistently produces high quality products. Her science background is also an asset as she has immersed herself in areas of animal health and nutrition.
Director of Buisness Development
Jen joined the Red Dog Deli team in 2012, off the heels of working the retail gig for 12 years. In her first month of working for Red Dog, she successfully transitioned her gorgeous Norwegian forest cat, Oliver, onto raw and has never looked back. Wearing many hats, Jen is often found organizing the office, planning events, and creatively problem solving. Jen brings a passion for establishing a positive company culture, ensuring all team members feel welcome and prepared.
Susan began her career at Red Dog Deli in 2012 and remains a committed and focused leader, pushing her team to their greatest potential… and then some. She truly is the heart of our production team. But her heart will forever belong to her beloved cat Jack, a beautiful orange tabby – with a BIG personality… much like Susan! Catch Susan on a bad day and she will still be smiling ear to ear!
Jag is one of our newest and most vital team members. He’s the first face you see when you start your career at Red Dog… and lucky for us it’s a friendly looking one. Jag brings to Red Dog an amazing and calm demeanor and enthusiasm for a safe and healthy environment. Bonus points to you if you mention his gorgeous dog Tyson in an interview.
Mitch is our resident Aussie on staff. We say “resident” because he practically lives here! Usually the first to arrive and the last to leave his department. Him and his rescue dog Lady are often found spooning on the couches. Awwwwwwwwww. Mitch makes sure safety is the priority number one, but sometimes can be a bit accident prone himself. He motivates his team in a positive and cohesive working environment. Working for him you will break a sweat, but you’ll have tons of fun doing it!
