In keeping with our mission to promote health and wellness in our lives and the lives of our animal companions, we strive to promote responsible industry practices and support initiatives that preserve and restore our natural environment. We have look at the impact of our industry has on the environment, and are actively researching solutions that would help us minimize our impact and waste.

Unfortunately, the raw pet food industry does have a substantial impact on the environment due to its widespread use of non-biodegradable plastics in packaging. Many of the plastic bags and containers used for raw foods are not accepted by local recycling programs and end up in landfills for eternity.

In recent years, some advances have been made in the area of biodegradable plastics. We hope that these plastics will soon be used applications that would be suitable for our own use.
